This a running account of life in Spain (and wherever I find myself in the future), that will hopefully be more fun for you than reading my bulk emails... it will allow for a bit more detail and a bit more interest You can also post comments if you like...or email me, I don´t mind!! It's a bit of an ancient blogging site so please bear with the formatting. Also, look down the right hand side for archived posts... have fun!

Córdoba

The cold weather continued into Córdoba, but we still managed to see plenty of things. The Mezquita was impressive, a mix of Arabic and Christian architecture that had us oohing and aahing for the whole visit. Afterwards, we watched a parade for Semana Santa (Easter), with KKK looking folks.... the photo of the KKK guy with the army general was taken by a surprised Marc who said it reminded him of the times of Franco when the Church and Government were very close friends... quite a sombre parade, but lightened with the kids collecting wax drops from all the candles and making big wax balls!!
