Italia- Cinque Terra

First stop- Cinque Terra. We rose early and after missing out first train, arrived at our agreed town of Riomaggiore. From there we walked along the winding path down the Via d'Amore (how romantic), stopping to look at the quaint little towns teeming with tourists.... we were on a tight schedule though and had to do a brief selection.
HIGHLIGHT: walking the winding path in complete silence because we were walking behind an all-deaf tour group!! (that doesn't sound very nice, but we just enjoyed watching them communicate and feeling peaceful!!)
LOWLIGHT: watching an American couple with their three year old on a lead (attached to a dog backpack), telling him he couldn't play in the sand (what else are beaches for?) because they wanted to look at the church.
