Jatbula Trail

Well Marc has now made his own blog and has already put in the majority of photos from our three day hike!! His blog site is http://marcushappy.blogspot.com/ . He's written in spanish but the photos should be sufficient!!

It was a great walk. Normally you need 4-5 days to complete it (last time I did it in 4 and a bit) but we only had 3 days to spare so, much to the parks and wildlife guy's dismay, we set out to do the 66km in 3 days.

It was a bit tough, but after the first day the walking wasn't too difficult. The afternoons were hot but not too oppressive, and we were welcomed each day by a cooling water hole or water falls....

A few blisters, a little sunburn, a great couple of bruises, and dodgy toenails, we managed to walk out in the afternoon of the third day, still smiling and not really ready to enter the real world again!!
