Uluru

Finally the day arrived!!! After wanting to visit for such a long time I finally made it to Uluru.

It definitely disappoint. The colours were spectacular, the size was just gobsmacking and the Aboriginal stories surrounding the area intriguing.

With all the tourists we watched a sunset and sunrise, but then got smart and went out to Kata Tjuta where there were less snap happy travellers.

The visitor centre was great, I was completely absorbed by the book containing letters from people who had returned pieces of rock stolend from the site due to an attack of the guilts, years of bad luck or an increased awareness of Aboriginal culture and values.

Not much more the say, the photos tell the story (but don’t do it justice!)
