Peratallada

- This is Peratallada near our place in Baix Emporda Region.
- It means 'cut pear' but most people think that a 'd' was left out somewhere along the way to make it Pedratallada meaning 'stone cut'.. as the town is cut out of stone, it makes sense hey!!
- Note the wheel marks in the stone in photo to left.
- Note hand chiselled stone in photo of me.
