Oviedo

So the day after the hike we drove to Oviedo, an old town with lots of old places to visit. They had a fantastic free museum with artwork from around the region which we really enjoyed...despite hardly being able to walk up the stairs from muscle soreness!!

The photos are of the cathedral and an old church (9th century..no not 19th...9th).. in the car park of the church, there were people sunbaking... and no not just sitting in the sun, they were in bikinis, with those sungoggles, lying on banana lounges!! As you can see from the photo, the weather was grey and overcast... but a car park of all places...yeah it was a little out of town but hey maybe in this instance a solarium might be better!! Weird Spanish people!!
