This a running account of life in Spain (and wherever I find myself in the future), that will hopefully be more fun for you than reading my bulk emails... it will allow for a bit more detail and a bit more interest You can also post comments if you like...or email me, I don´t mind!! It's a bit of an ancient blogging site so please bear with the formatting. Also, look down the right hand side for archived posts... have fun!

Calçotadas

Calçots are like big fat spring onions and it is usual in Catalunya to attend at least one calçotada during the calçots season. Well this year we have made it to two. The idea is that you cook the hell out of the calçots then manouvere them out of there outer skin, dip them in yummy salsa then tip your head back and slurp them into your mouth! Yes, it's messy.

Photos are from our friend Albert's place, then my work calçotada....
