Napoli-Naples

Chaos with a capital C!! We loved Naples, it was like stepping into a town in India with people, cars, pigeons and motos weaving amongst one another. Definitely not for everybody, but enjoyed immersing ourselves in the messiness of it all!!
HIGHLIGHT: coming across some street theatre highlighting the issues in Naples such as drugs, unemployment and violence. Afterwards they were asking for signatures and seemed to think that our opinion was very valuable, even though we had been in Naples for no more than an hour. They were lovely, but when I wrote "brighten the corner you're in" on their writing board, it was somewhat difficult to explain the concept to them, even though we used Spanish, English and Italian to try!!
LOWLIGHT: not that it was that bad but just shocked me a bit.... having arrived at the train station we began walking into the centre and as we crossed a street we passed a guy who sneered a very sleazy, icky "bElla" at me. I was too shocked to respond and Marc just laughed so he was really helpful!! Also, the Museum. Well it was great, but nearly every artefact from Pompeii was there!! We thought it would have been better to preserve those things at the actual site in Pompeii to help imagine what everything looked like back then... but maybe we're just picky.
